With "UnderStrømmen”Danish Chamber Players has joined forces with the 6 music schools in the cultural region for a new initiative that will give the joy of playing and the community around music a boost.

For workshops and concerts, the music rises when the young people play together with Danish Chamber Players and the music school teachers.

Age group: 10 years and up

The community around music means a lot to the children's and young people's desire to play and unfold creatively.
The music schools have very different prerequisites for offering larger musical communities and mutual professional sparring for the teachers.
By playing with the professional musicians, the children experience what the music can do when it rises and sounds big and beautiful, and you are an active part of a big creative event.
With the professionalism and presence of the music school teachers, the project brings together the region's teachers and musicians - and the children experience a common thread in their musical course.

Danish Chamber Players and Kulturregion Storstrøm's 6 music schools, Næstved, Guldborgsund, Faxe, Lolland, Stevns and Vordingborg want to collaborate on an effort for the region's classical instrumental students.

Together we can create a musical community that grows larger than what we can each.

Come and join! It will be fun to get to know the others and hear how good it can sound when we play with the others and the professional musicians.
